Maastricht is a city with many faces and with a long history. The heart of the city is located at the St. Servaas Church and is characterized by the many ornate streets. Tucked between the hills in the south of Limburg lies the town of Valkenburg. The town is situated on the River Geul and has been a tourist attraction for many years. In this town there is plenty of culture and history to be seen such as the castles, the Roman catacombs and the marl caves. The bobsleigh track is also famous in Valkenburg. Another sight worth visiting is the Belvedere turret. From this former water tower you will have a magnificent view of Aachen and its surroundings.
