Noordwijk is a vibrant family seaside town that has a lot to offer, both in winter as in summer. The broad boulevard with terraces that are heated in winter, the nice shopping street and beautiful building in the old city center. Take a look at the lighthouse, several sculptures and interesting museums. You’ll also find a bowling court, mini golf, trampolines, riding stables and many beach activities in this seaside town with an international touch.

About 15km from Noordwijk you’ll find the historical city Leiden. You’ll easily reach this city by bus, car or bike. Leiden is a beautiful historical city where you can find many monuments. The monumental ‘Waag’, the Hooglandse Church, St. Peters Church and the Hartebrug Church. It’s also a student city, offering a great nightlife. Leiden also offers 12 museums, 35 courtyards, many canals, the Hortus Botanicus and many parks and squares.

The Hague
From Noordwijk you’ll reach The Hague in less than 30 minutes. This is a unique, Royal city, city with two seaside resorts, Scheveningen and Kijkduin. Theaters, museums and interesting architecture play an important role in The Hague. The best known museums in The Hague are the Museon, The Hague Historical museum and the Mesdag Museum. Or are you out for a nice day of shopping and enjoy an evening outdoor? The Hague offers a lot of great restaurants, theaters, cinemas, lounge bars and trendy cafes.

Amsterdam is the place to be: Old buildings, modern architecture, nature, museums and a whole lot more. The city has over 165 canals and 1281 bridges. That’s more canals than Venice and more bridges than Paris. The Dam is one of the most important sights in Amsterdam. Well known buildings as the Dam Palace, the New Church, the Krasnapolsky Hotel, Madame Tussauds and the National Monument are located on this square. Visit the many monuments and museums such as the Anne Frank house, The National Museum, The Van Gogh Museum or the Hermitage. From Noordwijk you’ll reach Amsterdam within half an hour and as you can read, you won’t be done sightseeing in a single day!
